In this drowning derivative..... sea of thought
We embalm our passion
take leave to a twilight of passivity
In this depriving state of deep-sleep
We forget most of our instinct
upon our awake
from our coma-tic surrender
For us to view!
Now our theatre of nonsense
our triumph over.... ourselves
Woman or man,
man or woman
of spirit and charm
of tree and fire
of soil and water
We remain and retain
But, can we ever drain?
These rains?
Floods of shame?
And regain?
As a tree..... is torn
As a sea....... is bled
As a child....... is tamed
And as a chant, a hymn is forgotten
Expect I do not
Change can be growth... change can be renewal
I do hold a faith.... fed by my will
Survival now a task
Snake soon sheds its insanity
Tip of existence in mouth
Circle of life, eternal as can be
We remain and retain
But, can we ever drain?
These rains?
Floods of shame?
And regain?
The motherless nature of our acts feed our young,
Acrid elements
Rains of a dark age this time final.
We remain and retain
But, can we ever drain?
These rains?
Floods of shame?
And regain?
We remain and retain
But, can we ever drain?
These rains?
Floods of shame?
And regain?
Poisoned our intent,
Poisoned our tongues.
Given to us tools we once thought .....for healing
True identities......reveal now a darker tone.
Times of innocence over
Like a species of two tongues ,
We dissect the lands.
And still echoes are heard - distant not - we remain front centre!
Soak, the cry of the crow
The acid rain of our freshly explored world.

This whole album is flawless. This is music for walking in the rain and letting your thoughts run. It's not just a collection of songs, but an actual album. yakbone

It's a fierce black metal record that has this really cool melodic parts that they seem to have singled out so it shines like a forest fire. Cool record althroughout and has been a favourite of mine eversince.

This sounds exactly how I want black metal to sound. I have spent a long time searching for it but this is precisely what I was looking for. homocarbonis
